SELECTION PROCEDURE
  • Candidates are selected based on Written Exam / Typing Test / Skill Test / Interview.

EXAMINATION FEES

  • Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 1200/- for the posts of Principal and Technical Officer and Rs 750/- for the posts of Assistant, UDC, LDC, Hindi Translator and Stenographer Grade II. The fee once paid will NOT be refunded on any account nor would this fee be held in reserve for future examination/selection. For making payment through Credit/Debit Card (Master or Visa approved); Indian Bank will charge Rs 30/- as “service charge” in addition to the fees.

KVS Lower Division Clerk Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2014


 
 

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) henceforth mentioned as KVS, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India had recently invited Online applications from Indian Citizens for recruitment to the Officers’ Cadre and Non-Teaching posts for the year 2012-13 and 2013-14. KVS will conduct a Written exam for recruitment of these various posts. Nowadays Competition Level become very high so competitive Exams gets too tougher. Candidates facing critical problem of “What to prepare” and “How to prepare”. So, here we are providing the latest Syllabus & Exam Pattern for the posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) Exam conducting by KVS.

Written Exam will be Multiple Choice Objective Type.

The Question Paper consists of 100 Questions and 100 marks.

The Duration of Test is 02(Two) Hours (120Minutes).

Exam Syllabus : Exam Syllabus for Lower Division Clerk (LDC) written Exam is given below:-

Part I (Language Proficiency Test) :

Part II (General Awareness & Computer Literacy) :

  1. General Knowledge & Contemporary Issues
  2. Logical Reasoning
  3. Computer Literacy
  4. Quantitative Aptitude Test

Computer Proficiency Test (Skill Test) : MS-Word, MS- Excel, MS- Access, MS- Power Point and Internet.

NOTE

  1. The questions will be objective type with four multiple type answers. The candidate is required to mark only one answer out of four options.
  2. The practical/computer proficiency test will be qualifying in nature. The candidates are required to qualify the Typing Test and must secure minimum 40% marks in the Skill Test. The marks of practical/computer proficiency test will not be added in final merit.
  3. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Written Examination (Part I & II).
